He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Growth and Rose Growth (Steigenberger); his sisters, Lucille Sommers and Ione Luebke-Wells; and his siblings' children, Luanne Zimdars, Dennis Luebke, Jim Luebke and Jim Sommers.

He is survived by: his friends, Judi O'Brien, Leo Fuerst, Jennifer, John Edmondson and Eric Knutson.
