He was predeceased by : his parents, William Douglas and Catherine Douglas. He is survived by : his daughters, Jessica Douglas of Waupun and Rebecca Johnson (Dylan) of Waukesha; the parent of his children Meg Galaska of Waterford; his grandchildren, Wyattyn Schlichting and Connor Johnson; and his siblings, Bonnie Johnson (Eric) of Waukesha and William Jr. Douglas (Pam) of Waukesha. He is also survived by other family members and many friends.

A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:45 AM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park (14875 W Greenfield Ave, Brookfield, WI 53151).
