He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Walter and Beatrice Walter; his brothers-in-law, William Ptack and Joseph Spadaro; and his niece Dawn Sweeney.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Walter; his daughters, Cheryl Godin (Cindy) and Cindy Flesch (Shane); his grandchildren, Olivia, Autumn and Axel; his sister Patricia Ptack; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Spadaro. He is also survived by extended family including countless nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and even some great-great nieces and nephews.
