She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurney W. and Bessy P.; her husband Ronald P. Hyter; her siblings, France J. Bolen, Cathy Sexton of Cherryville, NC, Charles Poe of Bear, DE, Fred Poe and Gurney Poe, Jr. of Northeast, MD; and her grandson Derrick Smith of Dale City, VA..
She is survived by: her children, Willis Lewis, Jr. (Lilia) of Salem, WI, Sandi Wade of Dale City, VA and Carla Lewis of Iron Station, NC. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family.
