She was predeceased by: her father Herbert; and her children, Larry Joseph Derler, Jr., Tamara Lace Derler, Cody Joseph Derler and Shane Taylor Derler.
She is survived by: her husband Larry J. Derler; her children, Nathan A. Derler of Burlington, WI and Sheena L. Derler of Salem, WI; her grandchildren, Isabella R. Derler and Colt J. Derler; her mother Helga Burris of Beach Park, IL; her brother Thomas Reichwein (Shelly) of Silver Lake, WI; and her pets, Link, Coco, Tucker, Bandit and Heidi. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Salem Mound Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Froedtert Medical Center Cancer Research Department https://giving.mcw.edu, are appreciated in Sylvia's memory.
