She was predeceased by: her father Herbert; and her children, Larry Joseph Derler, Jr., Tamara Lace Derler, Cody Joseph Derler and Shane Taylor Derler.

She is survived by: her husband Larry J. Derler; her children, Nathan A. Derler of Burlington, WI and Sheena L. Derler of Salem, WI; her grandchildren, Isabella R. Derler and Colt J. Derler; her mother Helga Burris of Beach Park, IL; her brother Thomas Reichwein (Shelly) of Silver Lake, WI; and her pets, Link, Coco, Tucker, Bandit and Heidi. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Froedtert Medical Center Cancer Research Department https://giving.mcw.edu, are appreciated in Sylvia's memory.
