He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Roat and Geraldine Roat (Buzz). He is survived by : his daughter Courtney Roat; his wife Annette Roat; and his brothers, Richard "Dick" Roat Jr. (Mary Dodge-Roat) and Terrence "Terry" Roat (Linda Woestman). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
