He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Bittner (Walch) and Lloyd Bittner. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hughbanks; his children, Lori Taylor-Richard (Rhett Richard) and Dan Bittner (Deb Guyer); his grandchildren, Wade (Roberta), Zac (Lacey), Dustin (Katey), Dakota (Amber) and Amber (Luke); his great grandchildren, Mya (Hunter), Liv, Max, Dex, Law, Camden, Hudson, Madden, Evelyn, Emerson, Jae and Audra; his son Leonard Bittner; and his son-in-law Robert Taylor.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Hooverson Funeral Home (251 Water St, Sauk City, WI 53583). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Norbert's Catholic Church (8944 County Hwy Y, Sauk City, WI 53583).
