He was predeceased by : his father John J. Ernst. He is survived by : his mother Patricia A. Ernst (Hausner); his significant other Melonie Frahm; his children, John Jr. and Charissa Yurkovich (Mitch); his grandchildren, Parker, Kamdyn, Teagon and Eloise; and his siblings, Terry Blaszyk, Robert Ernst (Dana) and Sue Lien. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
