She was predeceased by: her parents, Wojcieck "George" Bajorek and Anna Czarnik; her husband James "Bud" McDermid; her daughter Elise Schuh; and her grandchildren, Shannon, Sara, Thomas Jr., Gary and Laura Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Lawniczak (Randy), Bruce McDermid (Linda), Gary McDermid, Dale McDermid (Karen) and Steve McDermid (Connie); her grandchildren, John LaCount (Gina), Arnie Schuh (Darla), Chris Schuh (Christie), Stacey Rasmussen (Eric), Matt Schuh (Jenny), Jessica Palmer (Jeff), Michael McDermid, Karrie Bierhals (Steve), Bobbi Jo Douglas (Tony), Courtney Brennan (Chris) and Ryan McDermid (Caitlin); and her son-in-law Roger Schuh. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edward & Isidore Church (3667 Flintville Rd, Suamico, WI 54313). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
