Gary Melchert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2025, at the age of 77, Gary Melchert (Seymour, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thressa Doxtator and Antone Melchert; his son Marshall Melchert; and his siblings, Florence, Herman, Harvey, Raymond, Antone, Willis, Merlin, Carl and Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Schoessow; his children, Waylon Melchert, Tressa Verber (Cole Klosterman) and Jackson Melchert (Kim); his grandchildren, Ainsley Verber, William, Dominic and Griffin Melchert; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Melchert and Ruth Melchert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home (358 S Main St, Seymour, WI 54165). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Gary's name.
