He is survived by: his wife Sue Heckenlaible; his children, Cora Schinke, Cheryl Morgan (Nathan), Cindy Kruse (Douglas), Pamela Iverson (Mike), Sarah Hicker (Adam) and Allen Grosnick (Jessie); his grandchildren, Nicholas Kruse (Jenny), Nathan Kruse, Courtney Evenson (Jason), Mackenzie Thompson (Andy), Sadie Schinke (Jared), Michael Socha (Laura), Heather Billups, Douglas Kruse (Amanda), Genevieve Hicker and Grant Hicker; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Bailey, Beau Kruse, Colt Kruse, Leda Donlevy, Rylee Donlevy, Bentley Kruse, Jeremiah Edgerly, Madalyn Lensmire, Carson King, Theodore Evenson and Addison Evenson.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (349 N Main St, Seymour, WI 54165). The military honors was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
