Maass, Mike Maass (Connie), Becky Fandrey (Bob) and Sara Maass-Pate (Dan); his nieces and nephews, Joe Maass (Anna), Melissa Wienkes (Collin), Brandon Maass, Jacob Maass, Ella Fandrey, Audrey Pate, Amanda Pate and Autumn Pate; his great-nephews, Korbin, Jaxon Wienkes and Colson Maass; his aunts, Jean Keune and Julie Marcks; and his uncle Merle Maass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Emmanuel Lutheran Inclusive Park.
