She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Zillmer and Josephine Zillmer (Dengel); her husband Mark "Steve" Monroe; her daughters, Katherine Monroe and Susan Monroe; and her sister Jane Frisbie (John).

She is survived by : her nieces, Jennifer Kiesl (Kevin) of Scottsdale, AZ, Stephanie Binder and Nancy Barchard of Deerpark, IL. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
