We announce the death of Maxine Evangeline Thomas (Seymour, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 78. Maxine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Robert Webster; her children, Dawn Walschinski (Christopher), Cynthia Thomas and Jeffrey Thomas; her grandsons, Pedro Thomas (Ashley), Devonte Pointer and Dante Thomas; her great grandchildren, Noah, Ase of Blake, PJ, Daleizha, Jevon, Jayveon, Lilly, Luna and Lola; her siblings, Susan W. Lemens, Geneva Stich, Linda Webster, Hugh Webster, Janice Hanley (Phillip), Lance Broberg (Susan) and Bonnie Broberg Van Hout (Terry); her mother Marjorie Webster Broberg (Metoxen); and her grandparents, Isaac, Cynthia Metoxin Webster, William and Evangeline Wheelock Metoxen. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 11:45 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM at W370 Reformatory Rd, Seymour, WI 54165. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Oneida Sacred Burial Ground (101-499 W Adam Dr, Hobart, WI 54115).
