She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Miethke and Violet Miethke (Jacobs); her husband James Smith, Sr.; her brothers, Norman Miethke (Barbara) and Donald Miethke; and her brother-in-law Bill Chism.
She is survived by: her son James Smith, Jr.; her grandchildren, James Smith (Janine), Jason Smith, Christopher Smith and Kathi Quillman; her great grandchildren, Lilyanna Smith, Amanda Adams (Patrick), Jordan Quillman and Brooklynn Quillman; her sister Betty Chism; and her sister-in-law Dolores Miethke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
