He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Gierach and Alice Gierach; and his brother Duwayne Gierach. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stiefvater of Port Washington; his children, Susie Gierach (Don Marten) of Prentice, Kathy Gierach of Caldwell, ID, Carol Leppla (Jeff) of Mukwonago and Gary Gierach of Port Washington; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Becky, Shane, Mitchell and Mikayla; his great grandchildren, Malia, Marilyn, Mackenzi and Elliot; and his brothers, Orville Gierach (late Anne Marie) of West Bend and Eldred Gierach (late Marilyn) of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Memorials in his name are suggested to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in lieu of flowers.
