He is survived by: his wife Betty Shulze; his son Kevin Gast (Nicole); his grandchildren, Irene and Jack; his pets, Penny and Kitty; his siblings, Vanice Oberst (Craig), Sharon Bannow, James Gast (Sandra), John Gast (Lisa), Kenny Gast (Elaine) and Suzanne Rudesill (Scott); his mother-in-law Alice Shulze; and his siblings-in-law, Michael, Jane, Jeanne, Don, Patrick, Terez, Carol, Randy, James and Kay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Stony Hill Lutheran Church (W9304 Oak Ave, Shawano, WI 54166). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
