With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Thompson (Shawano, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 56. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thompson and Colette Thompson (Heinz); and his sister Mary Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Thompson; his sons, Matthew Carothers (Tahni) and Kenneth Carothers (Courtney); his grandchildren, Camdon, Reed, Lacey and Garrett; his brother Paul Thompson; his sister-in-law Cathi Wielgus; and his nieces, Nora and Evelyn. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (321 S Sawyer St, Shawano, WI 54166).
