It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana Thunder in Shawano, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Thunder, Sr. (Awonohopay); her adoptive mother Elizabeth Roberts; her husband Bernard, Sr.; her children, Melvin VerHaagh and Melaine VerHaagh; her brother Darwin Thunder; her grandchildren, Alizah Martin, Dewey Thunder, Jr., Craig Thunder and Lynnacia Jack; and her father Dewey, Sr. Thunder.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard Doud, Jr. (Laura), Dewey Thunder, Sr. (Emily) and Deanna Mohawk; her siblings, Dennis Wynos (Mary Ann), Merwin "Petey" Wynos (Terri) and Martin Wynos, Sr.; and her close friends, Katie Fank and Nan Tucker. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
