He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Raeder and Lillie Raeder (Wolfgram); his wife Nancy Yeager; his siblings, Vernon, Victor, Raymond, Norman, Leland, Gordon "Sarge", Caroline Truettner and Pearl Wilbur; and his grandson Tyler Welch.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Griesmann (Pete), Lisa Watermolen (Jim) of Freedom, Janie Welch (Tim), Julie Farley (Roy) of DePere and Dave Raeder (Amber Yurek) of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Erika Welch, Tiffany Allord (Curt), Brittany Welch (Jeremy Blajeski), Timmy Welch (Lisa Wopshel), Marissa Riopelle (Jake), Travis Welch (Kendall Bricco), Austin Raeder, Alex Raeder (Jadyn Radomski), Mikey Raeder (Danielle Smolen), Brock Welch, Maycie Raeder, Isaiah Mills, Ilias Mills, Tony Carter and Brandon Farley (Cayla); his great grandchildren, Leila, Alayia, Akyra, Senika, Brooklynn, Walter, Mhylei, Tinisa, Dominic, Autumn, Carson, Kyson, Owen, Elli, Colton and Lahela; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Yeager (JoAnne) of Shawano and Cindy Yeager of Shawano. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mickelson Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. (336 S Sawyer St, Shawano, WI 54166). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
