He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Strei and Emma Strei (Runge); his wife Barbara Long (Mitchell); and his brothers, Allen Strei and Aldon Strei.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Strei (Katherine) of Rockville, MD, Adam Strei (Kristi) of Franklin, TN and Jane Strei (Eduardo) of Madrid, Spain; his grandchildren, Zachary Strei, Sara Strei, Hannah Lankster (Branson), Karli Grueso (Brandon), Spencer, Megan, Parker, Xander, Zoey, Avery and Delaney Strei; his great grandchild Benjamin; his sister-in-law Jan Strei; and his cousin Wayne Strei.
