He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Zimmel and Alice Zimmel (Meisner); and his sister Joyce Zimmel. He is survived by: his wife Betty Zimmel of Shawano; his sister Mary Strickland (Gerald) of Shawano; his brother-in-law Jack Thode (Liz) of Delaware; and his nephews, Steven of Shawano and David Olson of Shawano.
