He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Bartz and Lorraine Bartz (Olson). He is survived by: his wife Gail Burmesch of Mary's Catholic Church; his sons, Jason Bartz (Melody) of Shawano and Kevin Bartz (Lindsey Blanke) of Shawano; his grandchildren, Zoey Bartz, Draxton Bartz and Karsyn Bartz; his sister Audrey Olson (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Gary Burmesch (Kathy), Kenneth Burmesch (Mary Jo), Dennis Burmesch, Ron Olson, Sharon Bolz (Dan) and Karen Genovese. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 S Main St, Shawano, WI 54166). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Rather than flowers, memorials may be directed to the Parkinson's Foundation.
