He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sr. Cardish and Theresa Cardish (Corn); his son Robert; and his siblings, Georgia, Leo, Sandra, Lawrence, Edwin, Clifford, Peter Jr., Regina, Wilson, Ellen and Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Tresha Delabrue (Ron) and Tammi Malotky; his grandchildren, Tarah, Aubrey and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, Derek and Kyleigh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Swedberg Funeral Home-Shawano (518 W 5th St, Shawano, WI 54166).
