We are sad to announce that on February 29, 2024, at the age of 86, Marie Renel of Shawano, Wisconsin, born in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Sr. Young and Alice Young (Nass); her husband Fred A. Renel of Anthony's Catholic Church; her daughter Kathleen Marie Mattila; and her siblings, Shirley Younger and Norbert Young.

She is survived by : her children, Marjorie Rutledge (David), Kevin Renel (Jody), Laurie Renel-Faledas (Tim) and Daniel Renel (JoAnn); her son-in-law Wayne Mattila; her grandchildren, Nichole, Angelique, Christopher, Aaron, Jeremy, Genia, Tyler, Valorie, Julian, Bram, Zachary, Amber, Josh, Bailey and Lydia; and her siblings, Bernice, Mary, RoseAnn, Bernard and Raymond Jr.. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established.
