He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd M. Gauthier and Carole J. Pyawasay; his son John A. Kassube; and his sister Beverly K. Gauthier. He is survived by : his children, Samantha Jo Marie Pyawasay, Monica Marie Padilla and Arlin Cox, Sr.; his grandchildren, Antonio Jose, Nyomi Lissette, Gianna, Nevayah, Angelica, Precious Rose, Javier, Elizabeth, Idahlia, Layla, Sapatis, Jeffery and Shawn; his great grandchildren, Nyla Amari, Nataēh Armani, Feliz and Ismael; his siblings, Lloyd Gauthier, Jr. (Donna), Oran Gauthier (Brenda), Mitzi King, Douglas Gauthier, Bernard Gauthier, Melissa Gauthier, Lars Gauthier, Jana Karbow (Dale), Torriea Gauthier, Darren Gauthier and Lonna Oshkeshequoam (Mark); and his nephew Mark Anthony. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Mitzi King Residence (W2681 Chief WIS-KE-NOH, Keshena, WI 54135). A procession was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM.
