Matthew Meidam Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Meidam of Shawano, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Meidam and Ruth Meidam (Beversdorf); his sister Lorraine Raasch; and his niece Holly Raasch. He is survived by: his siblings, Ann Kahler (Peter) of Shawano, Mike Meidam (Kelly) of Shawano, Jim Meidam (Linda) of Clintonville, Marjorie Anderson of Shawano, Joseph Meidam (Cynthia) of Shawano, Barbara Gray of Shawano and Kathleen Meidam of Shawano; and his significant other Shari Van Straten of Green Bay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends.
