She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thiede and Laona Thiede (Helke); her children, Lori Niles, Brenda Niles, Scott Niles and Sara Rasmussen; and her siblings, Merceda, Marilyn and Jack.

She is survived by: her husband Alfred Niles; her son Jeff Niles (Christine); her grandchildren, Jesse Linde, Cody Linde, Kyle Niles (Angelina), Zach Niles, James Von Deck, Walker Rasmussen, Logan Niles, Lorella Von Deck and Emily Zimmerman (Mason); and her daughter-in-law Tina Niles. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
