He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mente and Lucy Mente (Katnig); his wife Julie Brosio; and his siblings, John, Bernard, Paul, Joseph, Mary and Louise.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Mente (Suzanne), Ann Mente and Matthew Mente (Katrina); his grandchildren, Melissa Barrameda (Ernie), Anthony Mente (Abbey), Katheryn Mente (Joe Heitz), Sarah Mente and Joseph Mente; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Reyna, Cecelia and Graham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 S Main St, Shawano, WI 54166). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
