It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert August Engel Jr. in Shawano, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude Engel, Sr. (Gralow); his sister Edith Knepfel; and his father Robert, Sr. Engel. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Huntington; his children, Susan Hietpas (Keith), Julie Wendler (James), James Engel (Jessica) and Michael Engel (Stephine); and his grandchildren, Eric Abresch, Andrew Abresch, Jennifer Wendler, Robert Wendler, Jack Wendler, Grayson Engel, Eloise Engel, Remington Engel and Harlynn Habeck-Krueger.
