She was predeceased by : her parents, Phillip Erber and Capitola Erber (Beck); her husband Allen Schmidt; her son-in-law Curt Diener; her great grandchildren, Abigail Dvorachek, Kordell Dvorachek and Raylen Roethke; her siblings, Lois Neumann and Willis Erber (Dorothy); and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Braatz and Sylvia Braatz.
She is survived by : her children, Dian Diener of Plymouth, Wayne Schmidt (LuAnn) of Plymouth, Lynn Niver (Mike) of Hubertus, Dawn Spring (John) of Plymouth, Joy Thompson (Brian) of Rogers, MN, Kay Hanson (Tom) of Plymouth and Neal Schmidt (Dianne); and her brother-in-law Donald Neumann. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established in Arlene's name.
