He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Bill and Germaine Ahrens; his daughter Dawn Wichmann; his daughter-in-law Lori Maas; his siblings, Ernst (Marion), Eugene, Lyle, Dolly Maas and Marcella Bauer; and his sister-in-law Gayla Maas.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ahrens Jacoby; his children, Daryl Maas (Linda), Debra Wallner and James Wichmann (Lisa); his grandchildren, Cameron Damrow (Nicki), Brittany Green, Breana Williams (Nick), Katie Green, Cassandra Koepsell (Adam), Dean Fredricks (Amanda), Cole Damrow (Rachel), Jeff Fredricks (Annika), Carlee Maas (Joe), Shauna Wichmann, Vallery Wallner and Faith Wallner; his siblings, Edgar Maas (Darlene), Roger Maas (Joan), Larry Maas (Carol), Clarence Maas (Linda), Dale Maas and Ron Wolter (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Dianne Maas and Jerry Bauer. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (730 County Hwy PPP, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in his name to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
