He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Feldmann and Helen Feldmann (Nix); his wife Ruby Jean Bardon; his parents-in-law, Leroy and Evata Bardon; his son Richard Feldmann; his daughter-in-law Doris Feldmann; his siblings, Harley Feldmann (Vernita), Marvin Feldmann (Myrtle), Florence Harvey (Alton) and Verona Sander (Willard); and his brothers-in-law, Oscar Bardon (Phyllis) and Robert Bardon.

He is survived by: his children, Gordon Feldmann (Karen Ruh), Judy Schmitz (Allen Kranick), Lloyd Feldmann (Sharon) and Nancy Fritz (Jimmy); his daughter-in-law Henrietta Feldmann; his grandchildren, Cory Feldmann (Jenny), Michelle Johanning (David), Melissa Fleck (Kevin), Tim Feldmann (Sara), Troy Schmitz, Tammy Arenz (Chris), Travis Feldmann (Jaime), Shauna Kretschmann (Rick), Lesa Athorp (Kurt), Jeanna Feldmann (Cole), Katie Haas (Eric) and Eric Fritz (Kristy); his great grandchildren, Tyler (Amber), Jessa Feldmann (Jerad), Morgan Johanning (Brady), Mason, Gage, Paxton Fleck, Kaitlyn, Kadience Feldmann, Krista Schroeder (Kyle), Kari Gabrielse (Parker), Kira, Avia Athorp, Wyatt, Lexi Haas, Damon and Lawson Fritz; his great great grandchildren, Sophie, Raegan, Aspen and Harper; and his sisters-in-law, Charlene Wimmler (Carl) and Sandy Bardon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Palmer's name.
