She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Brasier and Eva Brasier; her husband Jerome Brecht, Sr.; her son Frank; and her siblings, Ardyth, Darwin and Gerald, Jr..
She is survived by : her children, Jerome Brecht, Jr., Barbara Hockers (Timothy) and Susan Batchelor (Eric); and her daughter-in-law Sandi Brecht. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Shirley's name to Pine Haven Christian Communities.
