He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Klunk; his father Leonard Nowak (Louise); his daughter Catherine Nowak; his in-laws, John and Helen Klunk (Godard); and his siblings, Bernice DenDecker, Robert Klunk (Sharon), Gene Klunk (Donna) and Clifford Klunk (MaryAnn Bellinder).

He is survived by: his daughters, Ann DeBlaey (Dale) of Sheboygan Falls, Deb Develski (Mike) of Plymouth and Nancy Schroeter (Steve) of Sheboygan; his grandchildren, Amy Cooper (David) of Three Rivers, MI, Christopher Puddy of Sheboygan and Ashley DeBlaey of Miami, FL; his great grandchild James Cooper of Three River, MI; and his brother Bernie Nowak of Sheboygan.
