She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter DeWerth and Eleanor DeWerth (Stormer); and her husband John Tait. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Tait (Amy), Jennifer Sowinski, Brian Tait (Meaghan), Kathryn Vergeront (John), Alison Tait (Dave Galuska), Peter Tait (Elizabeth) and Robert Tait (Naomi); her grandchildren, Brianne Bastman, Brady Tait (Jess), Elaina, Matthew Sowinski, Carter, Chandler, Caris Tait, Taylor, Henry Vergeront and Bode Tait Nelson; and her great grandchild Ari Reed Bastman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
In her retirement, she enjoyed donating her time and talents to various local charities.
