She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gessert and Clara Hanke Gessert; her husband Eugene Koning; and her siblings, James Beaudry and Claireann Asonavich.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Usadel (Debbie) of Sheboygan and Wendy Heinzen Roe (Tod) of Sheboygan; her grandsons, David Usadel (Brynn), Daniel Gotter (Amy), Joseph Roe (Jennifer) and Jared Roe (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Blake, Isaiah, Micah, Amara, Faith, Roman, Lyric, Odin and West; her great great grandchildren, Athena and Demetrious; and her friend Darlene Beaudry. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Carol's name.
