He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Madson-Kloppenburg and Helen Madson-Kloppenburg (Otte); and his sister-in-law Carol Madson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, John Daniel Madson (Rebecca) and Andrea Marie Velasquez (Scott); his grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth, Mason Alberto, Amberly Grayce and Ashley Elise; and his brothers, Jim Madson (Judy) and David Madson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center (1201 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dan's name are asked to be sent to one of his favorite charities, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
