He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, John Daniel Madson (Rebecca) and Andrea Marie Velasquez (Scott); his grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth, Mason Alberto, Amberly Grayce and Ashley Elise; his brothers, Jim Madson (Judy) and David Madson; and his siblings-in-law, John Voss and Marianne Voss. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dan's name are asked to be sent to one of his favorite charities, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
