He is survived by: his wife Sue Van De Kreeke; his son D. J. (Jacinda); his grandchildren, Josie, Janessa, Tyler (Emily) and Jonah; his sister Debbie; his nephew Chad Miesner (Kyrstin Dietz); his daughter Nicole Goodell (Delaine); his sister Marcia Reinthaler (Tom); his niece Jeanie; his nephew Tommy (Katie); Mitzi (Dale), Mike (Kathy), Netti (Scott) and Kathy (Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends, as well as his VFW family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the VFW Post 9156 (552 S Evans St, Sheboygan, WI 53081). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may consider making a donation to V.F.W. Post 9156 in Dave's name.
