He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Klemme and Eleanor Klemme (Boll); his wife Janet Klemme; and his siblings, Diane Thusius (Dex), Charles Klemme and David Klemme.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Gerwin (Joseph) of Brentwood, TN and Scott Klemme (Barbara) of Sheboygan; his granddaughters, Erica Prokrym (Yuri) of North Ridgeville, OH and Grace Gerwin Rydburg of Nashville, TN; his great grandchild Frederick Prokrym; and his sister-in-law Sue Klemme of Medical Lake, WA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center (W2132 Garton Rd, Howards Grove, WI 53083). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at W3830 Co Rd J, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sheboygan County Historical Society or Saron UCC, or by donating blood in Don's name through your local blood bank.
