She was predeceased by: her husband David Borgardt of Savior's Lutheran Church; her parents, Lester Wierzbach and Frieda Wierzbach; her siblings, Roger Wierzbach and Lois Feudner; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Dorothea Borgardt.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Borgardt (Senen) and Linda Pierce (Lyle); her granddaughters, Jennifer Pierce and Jessica Pierce (Logan Arndt); her siblings-in-law, Janice Wierzbach and Mike Feudner; and her pet Teddy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
