He is survived by: his fiancée Dawn Brownson; his children, Amy Luedke, Tammy Ertel (Darryl Krenn) and Paul Ertel (Traci Harris); his grandchildren, Nicole Sartori, Ethan Sartori, Emily Luedke, Abel Ertel and Kaleb Ertel; and his siblings, Myron Ertel, Janette Mewes, Sandy Damrow (Dickie), Verlin Ertel (Sue) and Brenda Ertel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
