Though Elwood may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elwood touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Riese and Esther Riese (Siewert); his wife Janet Heyn; and his sisters, Arlene Kowalski, Caroline Drewry and Eunice Riese.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Riese (Gretchen Horlacher-Riese) and Janice Mallo (Frank).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center (W2132 Garton Rd, Howards Grove, WI 53083). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Woody's name can be made to either Good Shepherd Lutheran in Sheboygan or The American Red Cross.
