Francha left this world on January 18, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo "Ham" Meyer and Becky Bollenbeck Meyer; her sons, John Scott Grandlic and Daniel Hugo Grandlic; her husband Jack (Jack); and her siblings, Bob and Barbara.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Christopher Grandlic (Reina), Heather Mayer (Matt), Elizabeth Raml (Kyle), Adam Grandlic (Livy), Ryan Grandlic (Clarissa), Patrick Van Horn, Brennan Van Horn and Casey Van Horn; her great grandchildren, Spencer Mayer (Rebecca), Hunter Mayer, Makeila Capelli (Peyton), Tristin Mayer, Danielle Raml, Weston Raml and Lakelyn Grandlic; her great great grandchild Atlas Mayer; her daughter-in-law Julia Panasiuk (Peter); her nephews, Tom D'Amico (Maria) and Steve D'Amico (Sue); and her close friends, Don and Mary Pat Guske. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

It is Fran's request that any memorials be directed to Kohler Andrae State Park.
