With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis D. Goettl (Sheboygan, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2026 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Goettl and Eleanor Goettl (Spaeth); his son-in-law Kurt Herzog; and his siblings, Adam, Julianne, Oliva, Toni, Lorraine, Elsie, Sally, Valeria and Charlene.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Brown; his children, Christine Herzog, Angela Grede (Charles) and Francis Jr. (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Jamie Grede (Jennifer) of Florida, Katie Gajewski (Arno) and Kelly Herzog; his great grandchildren, Margaux Grede (Mazie), Lilly Gajewski, Ronald, Joshua, Connor, Brice and Jacob; and his sister Margie Cunningham of Chippewa Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
