He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hermann and Frieda Hermann (Marx); his wife Betsy Hengst; his brother Kenneth; his sister-in-law Rosie Hermann; his niece Sandy Moore; and his brother-in-law Wendell Hengst.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hermann (Mary), Ann Brill (David) and Lynda Damrow (Travis); his grandchildren, Nicholas Hermann (Alyssa Pomeroy), Emily Hermann, Christopher Brill, Joshua Brill (Ella), Kyle and Cooper Damrow; his great grandchild Samaria; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Hengst (Barb), Mark Jelenc (Lynn), Kim Jelenc (Deb) and Joel Jelenc (Gloria). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in John's name.
