She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. H. L. Rose and Mary Rose; her husband Robert Mattern; and her siblings, Marian Berger and Ernst Rose (Buddy).
She is survived by: her children, John (Alice), Edward El (Denise Pimintel), David (Antoinette), Carolyn Mattern (Douglas Mangan) of Golden, CO and Kathleen Steinbruecker; her grandchildren, Steven Mattern (Grit Ramschukat), Andy Mattern (Aubrey Rimer), Nick Mattern (Brianna), Evan Mattern, El Dorado Hills, Jack Mattern of Johnstown, CO, Karl Mattern, Lucy Mattern, Anna Mattern Mangan (Nick Kiggins), Alan Mattern Mangan (Amanda Moeller), Luke Steinbruecker (Lizbeth) and Leah Steinbruecker; and her great grandchildren, Wesley, Henry Mattern, Clyde, Frank, Jack Steinbruecker and Dagny Mangan Kiggins.
The family requests donations be made, in lieu of flowers, in Marge's name, to Sharon Richardson Hospice.
