It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael John Vandersteen of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Vandersteen (Bradtke) and Donald Vandersteen. He is survived by: his wife Julie Vandersteen; his children, Rob Vandersteen (Kelsey) of Middleton, Leah, Ruby and Katie McMahan (Nate) of Holliston; his granddaughters, Caroline and Amelia; and his siblings, Paul, Jim, John, David, Joe, Mary White and Judy Ledvina.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mike's memory to ROOTS – Restoration of Our Trees Sheboygan, a collaborative effort between the Sheboygan Rotary Club and the Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP) that addresses the threat of the Emerald Ash Borer to Sheboygan County's forests.
