He is survived by: his brother Leon Uhl; his nieces and nephews, Gary Strysick (Joann), Kathleen Leonhardt (Gary), Faith Neils (Bruce), Harve Strysick (Kim) and Chris Ruehr (Paul); and his close friend Steve Karle.

A memorial fund has been established in Roy's name.
