It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galan L. Lechleitner of Sheldon, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lechleitner and Marilyn Lechleitner (Gundersen). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Diamond; his sister Debra (Saeed) of Greenbrae, CA.; and his children, David Lechleitner (Erica) of Sheldon, Dawn Romig of Gilman, Larisa Yoder (Cody) of Elmwood, Bethany Lewan (Kevin) of Thorp, Amy Albers (Peter) of Spring Valley, Krista (CC) of Tony, Jonathan Lechleitner (Elizabeth) of Sheldon, Jeffrey Lechleitner of Elmwood, Timothy Lechleitner (Monica) of Thorp and Aaron Lechleitner (Hope) of Thorp. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 7, soon to be 9, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Sheldon Church of Christ (W5570 Pierce St, Sheldon, WI 54766).
